Reservations must be made at least 3 days in advance. This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends. This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends. Alcohol permitted in moderation. Review campground rules when checking in. Maximum 2 units per site (2nd must be a tent). Second units must be registered at the campground when you arrive. If you arrive after the entrance station closes, you must check-in at the station no later than 8 am the next morning. If reservation system shows nothing available, please contact the campground for the availability. April/May and September/October all sites are first come, first served. No advance reservations available.

2011 OPERATIONAL CHANGES FOR SEVEN POINTS CAMPGROUND
During the peak recreation seasons of May 26, 2011 through September 5, 2011 all sites in the Seven Points Campground will be available for advanced reservation. With this change, campers wishing to stay in the Seven Points Campground between May 26th and September 5th must make a reservation at any time up to six months in advance of the stay. Please note that all sites not previously reservable will become reservable on May 1, 2011. Customers can begin making reservations for those sites on that date. During the non peak seasons (1 April through 25 May and 6 September through 30 October) all sites are not reservable and remain available on a first arrival basis.

The Seven Points Campground is part of the larger Seven Points Recreation Area which serves as the main hub of activity for the lake. Located in the central region of the lake between lake markers eight and nine, Seven Points offers a host of recreation opportunities all within 10-15 minutes walking distance from your campsite!
Listed as one of the top 100 Family Campgrounds in the United States by The Recreation Agency, Seven Points offers 261 campsites divided over six camp loops. To learn more about the unique features of each loop visit the links below.
Reserve A SiteYou don’t need a reservation to camp in Seven Points, but a reservation is highly recommended to guarantee a site in this popular area. Sixty percent of Seven Points campsites are reservable and forty percent are walk-in. A site that is not under reservation is available to any walk-in campers on a first come, first served basis. Reservations can only be made through the National Recreation Reservation Service. Visit them online or call 1-877-444-6777. The Reservation Service can only advise you to the availability of reservable sites. The other forty percent of our sites MIGHT be available for walk-in, but will display as unavailable for reservation. There is no cost to make a reservation, but fees do apply for changes, cancellations and no-shows. Walk-in campers (non-reservation) may select their site from a map of available sites or MIGHT be provided a look pass granting them access into the campground (to reduce traffic, look passes are only available when the campground is less than fifty percent occupied). The attendant can provide guests with site specific information regarding size, shade, hook-ups, proximity to water and other amenities. Reservation campers should be prepared to provide their registration number and name to the attendant.
Visitors wishing to visit a site for the day will still need to check-in at the Entrance Station to receive an access pass into the campground. Upon checking into a site, campers receive vehicle and site permits granting access into the campground, a copy of our campground rules and a trash bag. Normally check-in only takes 5 minutes, but at peak times (weekends and holidays) campers should be prepared for longer lines and limited space at the Entrance Station parking lot. To make your camping trip hassle free here’s a few tips that will help you plan a truly enjoyable vacation. ● To guarantee a campsite, make a reservation!
● Getting a prime campsite without a reservation can be a challenge. To ease early morning competition among multiple visitors, available campsites are chosen through a structured assignment process (often referred to as “the lottery”). To receive randomized selection priority over other visitors, eligible campers must be present at the Seven Points Entrance Station at 8:00 AM the morning of their desired check-in day. Eligible campers are persons who are not currently registered on or holding a reservation for any campsite and who are able to occupy their assigned site within 2 hours of registration. We originally had reserved a site for 2 nights. We enjoyed the area so much we decided to get an unreservable site for 2 more nights, meaning we had to move off our reservable site, since someone needed it Sunday night. We got a site closer to the water. Campground area - Senoia - is a little tight in places, while Point is a little more spacious. While we don't really take advantage of the water sports and resources, we loved the area. We will be back. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

[ 7 / 10 ]July 2009$25This is a clean campground with level sites and paved roads. The lake is very nice. However, there is not a lot of activities, other than swimming. Boat rentals are pricey, and the campground is very hilly, making it all but impossible for my kids to ride their bikes or play ball. I don't think we will return here. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Beautiful area, gorgeous views. Good place for boaters or fishermen. Only electric hookups, but most sites are modern and spacious. Most campground sections are hilly...especially Point and Senioa, but then they have water views. Valley has a bay a short walking distance across the road to pull your boat up to shore overnight. Past Valley and Point Camp entrances, the road is one way, so you have to go all the way around to go anywhere. Huntingdon is a short drive if you need gas or groceries. A huge camp store is near the entrance to the campground. It is on a large deep, busy lake with about 30 miles of running room. Water skiing and tubing are popular. Two marinas on the lake have restaurants you can pull up and go to. They also have gas available at the docks at the marinas. Nice well maintained campground. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.Review Rating

Nancy's Camp
Accessible only by boat, Nancy’s Boat-to-Shore Campground offers a remote camping experience like no other. Nancy’s is located halfway on the lake between marker 15 and 16 on the western shore. The Campground is nestled amongst mature trees and opens up to a sunny grass covered slope near the shoreline. Unimproved sites. Sites do not have a defined living area and sizes may vary. Each site is identified by a post and includes a picnic table and fire ring.

To locate Nancy's Camp from the water, simply look for the sign and open grass area.

Upon your arrival at Nancy’s Camp simply choose any unoccupied campsite (site without a post permit) and locate the identification number on the post. Then proceed to the registration kiosk located just downhill from the restroom. Registration and payment procedures are posted at the kiosk.

● Although Nancy’s campers may launch from any public boat launch at Raystown, most prefer James Creek for its close proximity to Nancy’s and ample parking. To locate James Creek and other launches, access the lake map here.
● Want to camp at Nancy’s, but still have a hot shower? Nancy’s campers have free access to the Seven Points beach change house showers just a 20 minute boat ride away.
● Lake rules, news and events are posted for your convenience at the Restroom bulletin board.
● Due to the remote location, emergency response can take up to 30 minutes to reach Nancy’s Camp. Please think and recreate safely!

Susquehannock
Susquehannock Campground is located near the north-central area of the lake near mile marker seven. Classified as a primitive campground, Susquehannock is a great place to get away from it all and still be within short driving distance of civilization. |

Unimproved Sites. Sites do not have a defined living or tent pad. A level area is provided, but sizes may vary. Many sites do not accommodate a camping unit larger than a tent or small pop-up trailer. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring.
Waterfront Sites. Waterfront sites (designated with the “
“ in the map above) are located within 10 to 30 feet of the shoreline.Drinking Water Access. A single hand pump water hydrant provides the only source of drinking water in the campground.
Hiking & Biking Trails. The Allegrippis Trail system can be accessed from a road crossing about 100 yards uphill from site 1.
Near Seven Points. Susquehannock campers have access all Seven Points day-use areas including showers at the beach change house, a short 15 minute drive away.

Group Camp
Rather than attempt to get a number of sites together, Group Camp is a great alternative for large groups of campers. Located in Meadow Camp (part of the larger Seven Points Recreation Area), Group camp consists of sites 60-67 that can be reserved together under a discounted price. Open area for tents. Each site is limited to one wheeled camping unit (RV’s, trailers, pop-ups, etc) and a tent. However, a large open common area may be used for additional tents.
Exclusive Picnic Shelter. A picnic shelter is located to the back of group camp for exclusive use by group camp users. This shelter was constructed in 2008 in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Conservation Corps and includes:

Reservations
A reservation for group camp is not required, but is essential to guarantee a stay. Group camp reservations can be made by calling the Raystown Project at (814)658-3405 and following the menu prompts for Group Camp or in person at the Ranger Office located in the Seven Points Visitor Center.Reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis beginning at 12:01 a.m., 12 months in advance of the reservation date. Please note that the National Recreation Reservation Service cannot make a reservation for group camp. When not under a reservation, Sites 60-67 are available on a first come, first served basis.

At check in, each camper will receive a copy of our campground rules and a trash bag, and be assigned vehicle permits as needed.
A roster will be provided by mail to the group representative. Upon arriving at Group Campsites, each camper will be listed on the registration roster. The roster, with payment, is due to the entrance station by 2:00 p.m. the day following the first night’s occupancy.

Branch Camp
Located on Raystown property, Branch Camp is leased and operated by Mr. Bob Moyer. This small 27 site campground located along the river downstream of Raystown dam offers:- Electric service

- Trail access

Trail access. The Riverside Nature Trail (.75 mile) is accessible from within the campground.
Directions
From Route 22 just east of Huntingdon, PA, turn onto Snyder’s Run Road toward the Raystown Dam. Stay to the left and continue onto Henderson Hollow and Point Roads towards the Raystown Dam. Branch Camp is on the left approximately 5 miles off Rt. 22.
