Lake Raystown Resort Lodge and Conference Center

The surroundings of Lake Raystown Resort, Lodge & Conference Center provide a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Natural terrain enhances this tranquil haven and pristine location, nestled in the mountains of central Pennsylvania and surrounded by Raystown Lake, the largest man-made lake east of the Mississippi River. Our wooded campsites are unmatched in proximity to the lake and include water, 30 Amp electric, wireless internet and cable hook-ups, fire ring and picnic table. Whether you're bringing a tent, travel trailer or a luxury motor home, you will find the perfect site. Accomodates: Camper <25, Pop-Up or 2 tents. Pad level but narrow, tents behind pad and some shade. All camping rates include a maximum of (6) people per campsite and either (2) vehicles or (1) vehicle and (1) boat trailer. No more than (2) tents or (1) camping trailer or pop-up and (1) tent on campsite.

Camping Policies

  • Bloomin' Spring: $25 per weeknight for all sites from 4/11/11 - 6/10/11
  • Fall Foliage Weeks: All campsites are $20 per night from 10/16/11 - 10/31/11.
  • All camping rates include a maximum of (6) people per campsite and either (2) vehicles or (1) vehicle and (1) boat trailer. A vehicle is considered anything with an engine and (3) or more wheels.
  • (1) camping trailer or pop-up and (1) tent on campsite.
  • No Saturday check-ins or check-outs and (2) night minimum stay for all campsites on weekends (Friday & Saturday) between 5/22 - 9/6, (3) night minimum for Holiday weekends.
  • Premium & Waterfront sites run Sunday till Friday and Friday till Sunday ONLY, or by the week.
  • Mooring posts located on shoreline of waterfront camping areas (Poplar, Locust, & Birch) are first-come/first serve and free of charge to our guests. Please be courteous of fellow campers when mooring boats close to or in front of a campsite that is not yours.
Lodging

Settle in at a rustic camping cabin, beachfront bungalow, cottage or villa. Our accommodations sleep groups comfortably, and include a full bathroom, full galley kitchen, air conditioning, heat (excludes camping cabins) and cable TV. Bed linens are provided. Please bring your own towels. Call to inquire about Spring/Fall and Special Off-Season rates.

All rates are per night and based on double occupancy.

Policies

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the scheduled arrival will receive an 80% refund. Cancellation received 89 to 31 days prior to scheduled arrival will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival will not receive a refund.

TRIP PROTECTION GUARANTY

Our Trip Protection Guaranty is new and provides fl exibility and peace of mind for booking 2011 vacations at Lake Raystown Resort, Lodge and Conference Center. The Trip Protection Guaranty is applicable toward 2011 reservations only. Guests are able to cancel their 2011 reservations at anytime and without penalty. Reservations may be moved without additional booking fees. The Trip Protection Guaranty must be selected and paid for when the original reservation is made. It is intended for guest scheduling conflicts, unforeseen occurances and guest catastrophic events. Undesirable weather cancellations are not included nor will any portion or percentage of the Guaranty be refunded for early check outs. If you must cancel your trip for any reason right up to the time of your day of arrival, the full cost of your trip will be refunded to you (less the trip protection fee). Remember, if you wish to accept your Trip Protection Guaranty, it MUST be done at the time of reservation. Please note these plans are offered and funded solely by Lake Raystown Resort, Lodge & Conference Center. This plan is not, nor should it be construed as an underwritten insurance product. If you would prefer to use a private insurance company, please contact your personal insurance agent or provider. For more information please call 814.658.3500.

RESERVATIONS AND PAYMENT

All accommodation reservations must be paid in full at the time of reservation. Reservations will not be held without full payment. This cancellation policy applies to all additional charges incurred. NO personal checks. All payments must be made with a valid credit card, traveler’s check, money order or cash.

CHECK-OUT

Late check-outs on all accommodations will be charged an additional $10 per hour after 11am on scheduled day of departure. Refunds are not offered for early checkouts.

ADDITIONAL FEES FOR ACCOMODATIONS

Fees for all accommodations including, but not limited to damages, lost amenities, late check-outs, and excessive cleaning will be charged accordingly.

ADDITIONAL FEES FOR CAMPSITES

Extra Vehicles are $5 per day, per vehicle or boat trailer, for more than (2) vehicles or (1) vehicle and (1) boat trailer. A Visitor Pass is $5 per day, per visitor (visiting hours 8am – 11pm). Honey Wagon Service is available daily, sign up at the Trading Post.

BOAT TRAILERS AND VEHICLES

Boat trailers and vehicles must be parked in designated areas or they will be towed at expense and risk of owner.

MOORING POSTS

Mooring posts located on the shoreline of waterfront camping areas (Poplar, Locust, & Birch) are first-come/first serve and free of charge to our guests. Please be courteous of fellow campers when mooring boats close to or in front of a campsite that is not yours.

PETS

NO PETS are permitted inside or around the Lodge, Cabins, Park Cottages, Bungalows, Villas or Houseboats. Violators will be evicted without notice or refund. Pets in campgrounds must be leashed and supervised at all times.

Cabins

The rustic one bedroom Original Pine Camping Cabins (#1-12) sleep up to (6) people comfortably with (4) bunk beds, (1) double bed and a small loft. The one bedroom New Pine Camping Cabins (#13-24) sleep up to (6) people with (2) bunk beds and (2) double beds. Each cabin has an air conditioning unit (no heat) and a covered porch with a view of the lake.

Original Pine Camping Cabins

Our rustic camping cabins are the closest overnight accommodations to the lake! Built from native hemlock logs each one bedroom cabin sleeps up to 6 guests comfortably. Each cabin has a private bathroom, galley kitchen, and cable TV.

Appalachian Log Cabins in Maple

Our Appalachian Log Cabins are built from beautiful native hemlock and are perched high on the cliffs overlooking the lake. These rustic cabins sleep up to 8 guests in two bedrooms with 2 double beds and 2 sets of bunk beds. Enjoy the picturesque vistas that are usually reserved for the eagles that nest nearby from the 34 foot covered porch.

Each rustic two bedroom cabin sleeps up to (8) people with (4) bunk beds and (2) double beds. Each cabin has an air conditioning unit (no heat) and Handicap accessible cabins are available.

These luxurious vacation homes each include a loft with a double mattress and master suite with queen size bed, and sleeps (7) to (8) people. The living area includes (2) pullout sofas that convert to sleeping areas and an additional TV. Each cabin has central air conditioning, heat and a full kitchen (including an oven).

Marina

The resort's full-service Marina is one of Pennsylvania's largest, with all of the conveniences boating and fishing enthusiasts dream of. We are proud to offer Raystown Lake's boat rental fleet with Jon fishing boats, Pontoon boats, Canoes, and even Houseboats. For more information and reservations please contact our boat rentals staff at (814) 658-3500 ext. 176.

The Marina also is the home of our Hunting and Fishing Specialist, Joe Frazier. Join Joe on board his brand new 23 foot center console Sea Boss fishing boat for some of Raystown Lake's most exciting game fishing. Joe is the only guide on the lake that takes children, so bring the whole family along. We can customize any fishing trip with overnight accommodations, meals, and entertainment. Our 650 seasonal boat slips are open from April 28th to October 31st with Boat Rentals beginning Friday, May 19th.

2010 Seasonal Boat Slip Price Guide

Standard Boat Slips Includes convenience electric and water services. Minimum billing length 20 feet at $51.00 per foot.

Premium Boat Slips Includes convenience water service and full time 30 amp electrical service. Minimum billing length 25 feet at $54.00 per foot plus $395.00 annual charge for individual electrical service available 24 hours per day.

Luxury Boat Slips G, H, Y & Z Dock Includes individual water, (2) 30 amp or 50 amp electrical and cable television service. Minimum billing length 40 feet at $61.00 per foot plus $525.00 annual charge for water, electric and cable services. Minimum billing is based on length of slip finger.

Price includes slip holders discounts at the Marina Cafe, (2) free boarding passes each Friday night to the Proud Mary Showboat, discounts at the Lodge and Campgrounds, admission to Friday & Sat. night dance at the Marina and daily activities for children between Memorial Day & Labor Day.

Marina Café

The Marina Café offers old time favorites and creative American Fare in a casual setting overlooking our picturesque Marina. Come try our award winning Galley Wings or one of our delicious daily specials. The Marina Café is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Bistro Express

Looking for a quick bite or late night snack, try the Bistro Express and Arcade. Enjoy pizza, specialty pies, and dessert selections including cookies and ice cream. Eat in or take out. Come play video games, air hockey, and pool. Watch out, Captain Chipmunk is a widely known pool shark, don't be lured in by his innocent looks!

Pavilions & Picnics

One of the best ways to “Get Back to Nature” is a picnic. Our variety of outdoor space allows us to take picnics and outdoor dining to a new level. From traditional hamburgers and hotdogs to gourmet fare, we can design the perfect menu for making your picnic a success.

Convenience Stores

The Resort’s three retail stores make your stay convenient and trouble-free with easy access to basic sundries and necessities. The Trading Post, located in the heart of the campground offers grocery items, ice, firewood, candy and ice cream. It is also the site of one of our three laundry facilities. The Marina Store is your home base for sodas, snacks, and other essential boating items. The latest Resort logo items and souvenirs, even hermit crabs, are available at the General Store.
